Insurance & Discounts
Only Chamber members can purchase Chamber Insurance, the #1 Insurance Plan for small businesses. Members can also receive discounts on products and services such as Bell MTS, VISA & Mastercard rates, and Choice Hotels, through the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce Affinity Program.
Profile & Promotion
All members receive referrals to their business from our office, free monthly e-mail advertisements to our mailing list, “Promotional Minutes” at lunch meetings, and a listing in our Member Directory.
Networking
Every second Wednesday we host a meeting for our members, where politicians, our members, and residents give presentations on topics applicable to Thompson and area. We also hold other annual events, such as Northern Business week; a complete schedule of our events can be found on our Events page.
Lobbying
We advocate for our members to municipal and provincial officials. The Manitoba Chambers of Commerce has also adopted several of our proposals, such as the Northern Development Strategy.
